The confidence, communication, performance and presentation skills that one builds through the process of singing are applicable in many areas of a tech professional’s life, from more effectively communicating with team members, to distilling their ideas into more concise language, to more confidently pitching investors. In the class, we will break singing down using language and concepts that are already comfortable and familiar to technical professionals in order to diffuse tension and anxiety, and allow the student to open up, express themselves, explore their own voice and sound, build confidence and comfort in front of a crowd, and have a little fun and release some stress.
